We offer the newest mentality in Staffing industry and our core business are Candidates and Clients. For our client in Muscat, Oman, we are looking for the following position:

WAITER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Great guests and make them feel comfortable;
Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations and suggest signature or promoted items;
Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods;
Inform customers of daily specials;
Take food and beverage orders. And log them into POS system;
Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required;
Refill beverages throughout the meal;
Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems;
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or bar, take them to kitchen for cleaning.
Clean tables or bar after guests have finished dining;
Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs;
Collect payments from guests and thank them for dining at the restaurant;
Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware;
Roll silverware, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties;
Fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment, and napkin containers;
Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests;
Work with other servers and be a team player;
Perform beginning and end of shift check lists, reports and clean-ups;
Preform weekly deep cleaning session;
Help in reaching sales goals by upselling and cross selling.

High school or diploma is preferred.

Experience:

1 year experience of serving

JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage guest relationship & solve their issues;
Meet guests and conduct them to the tables;
Monitor FOH staff activities and creates reports regarding their performances;
Provide staff feedback and solve or escalate any staff disputes which may arise;
Motivate staff throughout the day in order to achieve their best results;
Programs the shifts, so that the staff benefits from a balanced schedule;
Monitors the cleaning and stocking level in all FOH of the restaurant;
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports;
Maintain the cash drawers in good order and provide petty money when required for change;
Maintain Cashier and cash and credit payments .

DESIRED PROFILE

Academic and professional qualifications:

Mandatory: High school diploma with training in hospitality;
Preferred: BS degree in Business Administration/ hospitality or other relevant.

Experience:

BARTENDER – MUSCAT, OMAN

BARTENDER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Plan bar menu;
Plan, organize, and control the operations of a virgin cocktail bar;
Prepare non-alcohol beverages;
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks;
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks;
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations;
Maintain, restock, and replenish bar inventory and supplies;
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience;
Clean bars, work areas, and tables;
Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays;
Create basic coffee drinks;
Create and innovate signature cold and hot drinks and presentation with Chefs approval;
Perform daily opening and closing check lists;
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for stock, sales, cash and purchases reports.

DESIRED PROFILE

Academic and professional qualifications:

High school;
Relevant training certificate.

Skills:

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills;
Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks;
Innovative and ambitious to learn and create;
Ability to keep the bar organised, stocked and clean;
Smiling and positive attitude;
Teamwork skills;
Some English language skills.

Experience:

1-2 years’ experience as a bartender or barista.
