Full Stack Engineer – Pristina

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer that enjoys working on different aspects of software development and revels in the challenge of tackling a wide array of tasks and projects. Our ideal candidate is driven with great attention to detail and has the ability to work comfortably up and down the software stack. As part of your role, you will help build a large-scale data processing and analytics system that provides our customers with monitoring, analysis, and predictions for shipments in supply chain management.

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

3+ years experience building secure multi-tier web applications
Strong desire to learn and collaborate with the team
Strong abstraction and design skills
Strong understanding of data modeling and relational databases
Knowledge of front end frameworks such as Angular or React
Proficiency with server-side languages such as C# and Python
Proficiency with front end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, and MongoDB
Ability to work with remote coworkers in other time zones

BONUS POINTS

Experience with AWS hosting environments and DevOps
Experience with big data streaming platforms such as AWS Kinesis or Apache Kafka
Experience using Docker and/or Kubernetes to build containerized applications
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum
Experience working with Customer Success to troubleshoot and correct customer issues

We are looking for a software engineer that enjoys working on removing complexity and boosting productivity to support multiple teams. Our ideal candidate is driven and has the ability to work comfortably with systems, platforms, and third-party integrations. As part of your role, you will help build and integrate tools to increase efficiency and visibility across operations, finance, customer support, and sales teams.

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Scripting, close with IT. New software they purchase. Build the integration sales tool and companies product. Internal tools.
2+ years of software engineering
Experience interfacing with REST APIs and integrating with external applications
Demonstrated experience delivering value at a rapid pace while maintaining a high-level of software quality
Proficiency with common development tools (e.g. Git, Jira), databases and processes (Agile methods/scrum)
Well organized, disciplined, and self-motivated, capable of balancing multiple priorities
Strong desire to learn and collaborate with other teams; to understand their needs and develop solutions to make their work effective
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, vendors and customers
Ability to work with remote coworkers in other time zones

BONUS POINTS

Desire to work across our entire application stack
Experience integrating business tools (Financial, MRP/ERP, CMS, etc.)

FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We are looking for an awesome engineer that enjoys working on different aspects of software development and revels in the challenge of tackling a wide array of tasks and projects. Our ideal candidate is driven with great attention to detail and has the ability to work comfortably up and down the software stack. As part of your role you will help build a large scale data processing and analytics system that provides our customers with monitoring, analysis and predictions for shipments in supply chain management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, build and test small and large pieces of software
Create visually appealing and user friendly web applications
Interact with various 3rd party APIs to pull in a wide array of data (e.g. mapping)
Help manage and process large amounts of data (big data)
Collaborate within and across teams to create an integrated platform
Work with the Customer Success team to troubleshoot and correct customer issues
Have lots of fun working with a great team

REQUIREMENTS:

BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Proven experience in software engineering positions
Experience with multi-tier web application development
Strong desire to learn and collaborate
Strong abstractions and design skills
Strong understanding of data modeling and relational databases
Proficiency with front end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScripT
Proficiency with server side languages such as C# and Python
Familiarity with databases such as Sql Server, Postgres, and MongoDB
Exceptional English communication and teamwork skills
Able to commute to our new office in Pristina. (May be required to work from home until the office is ready for us to move in)
