WORDPRESS DEVELOPER

We are looking for an experienced and versatile WordPress Developer to join our team of passionate and driven individuals. Our ideal candidate is flexible with proven experience in developing modern, accessible and responsive websites for all types of clients. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through developing, testing and launching. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop WordPress markup and templates to build responsive websites with a strong focus on maintainability, cross-browser compatibility and performance.
• Work closely with designers, business analysts, project managers, and software engineers to ensure design standards are met throughout the lifecycle of the web project.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
• Perform hands-on coding while designing and architecting web content solutions.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Provides technical guidance to junior programmers and other software engineers.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Participate in requirements gathering and functional specification activities, providing feedback on implementation feasibility as well as navigable prototypes/mockups.
• Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of front-end web coding and design standards, writing clear, clean, and concise code.
• Participate in discussions with team members about technical best practices and help identify optimal technical solutions.
• Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays.
• Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
• Stay current on the latest trends and emerging technologies within the WordPress community.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience and profound skills in WordPress Development
• Experience in WooCommerce and multisite
• Language requirements: English (Italian is a plus).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• You must be able to work full time

Desired Skills:

• Must have passion for development and latest technologies
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications.
• Leadership and ability to guide design and technical meetings
