For our Client, Australian based investment, we are looking for:

ACCOUNTANT – Demir Kapija

The candidate will be part of a growing team in North Macedonia, being the sole representation for finance to commence with. She/He will have the ability to learn international experience being owned by a publicly traded company on the ASX (Australian Stock Exchange).

Key tasks:

• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable (<5 customers)
• Payroll
• Book-keeping
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Budget v actual reporting
• Assist in the implementation of adequate internal controls
• VAT submissions
• Responsible for all local tax and accounting compliance
• Ad hoc general administrative assistance as required in a small company

Key Qualifications:

• University degree from the Faculty of Economics, preferably in the field of accounting, auditing or finance.
• Possession of an active license for a certified accountant would be advantage
• Knowledge of working with computer (MS Office, ERP systems) and accounting program for posting.
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Knowledge of the legislation and its active monitoring, mandatory visits to seminars / trainings / introduction to the novelties, amendments to laws
• Work experience of at least 3- 5 years as an accountant with broad overview of small business

REMUNERATION/ SALARY: Highly Competitive.
